    Bought them for yrs to make gavels and wood carving mallets.Than they got to spendy
    Actually made a few for some prominant Judges in santa clara valley along with granet bases.
    Being a true Tonal wood,Real Lignum rings like a bell when struck on a hard base.
    Be very carefull if you section it on a bandsaw,you can hurt yourself bigtime.
