Woke up a little late and under the gun this morning so I had no intention of trying to evaluate the shave readiness of this one under those circumstances. Later this week I'll give it a try but inaugural celebration may have to be postponed until its seen some honing over the weekend. Based on the current state of the bevel, it looks like it should be a straight forward job. I am not an expert so I have to evaluate these situations carefully.

Lol! I was looking at the exact razor myself OCD...beat me to it! I hope you enjoy it, it looks like it will be a great one.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

My first shave attempt with this new one was on Thursday. It shaved, not bad. But there was some pulling. So I had to go back to the stones over the weekend. A little more time on the 8k and a couple hundred laps on the Zulu. Ah, now were shaving. So after my shower today I whipped up a lather with some Proraso Blue and went at it again. Very nice shaver and it took a very comfortable, smooth edge. It cleaned me up quite well. A very nice razor. Anyone looking to buy a new razor might have a look at the Revisor web site. There is something to tempt anyone. No regrets.
