In this instance though I could have been giving someone their "welcome". And even with an apostrophe I would have made "you'r" which either needs an "e" - "you're", or a second apostrophe to indicate the missing "e" - "you'r'".
The second example is somewhat unconventional though.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I don't understand the slashes, brackets, soap, razors, strops....I found this site while looking for info on Esperanto, and why it was a dismal failure.
