Not sure if you're serious, but just in case, and for those not familar ,this is why gugi put the line, at the top of the classifieds intro page in red .......
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the classifieds rules.
Unfortunately, like the stickies, many people just scroll right by it .......Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Yes I am serious and now I know. I know the rules that is relevant for me at the moment, which is basically what you can and can not say in the forums. I Have nothing to sell in the classifieds and therefore I haven't familiarized myself very much with it. Is that so bad?

I don't understand your apparent objection to my reply. I responded to your query and pointed out that you, among many others, don't notice the red text that points out the classifieds rules.
My comment on the stickies, that people scroll right past them, was based on the fact that, that is what I do, since I don't really "know" that everyone else does the same.
Say this all to say that I wasn't being critical of you personally, if that is what you seem to have taken offense to, but was just pointing out my perception of common human foibles relating to forums.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I didn't mean to object. If you thought I were there was probably some loss in communication, and for that I'm sorry. I just tried to say that it can be a lot if information to take in at once when you first start SR shaving and join a completely new forum. That is why I take one thing at a time. Learning everything at once would be difficult. And since I don't really spend much time in the classifieds I haven't got around to learning the rules there. It just seemed like you thought that I should know all the rules and stickies already and I just tried to explain myself. My intention was never to disagree and argue, I'm sorry if it came across that way.

After I joined SRP my curiosity got the better of me and I went looking at other so called similar forums on our beloved and frustrating art of bare blade shaving. If you can, picture a yelping dog running for his life with his tail between his legs for the comfort of his dog house or under the couch. One of my sons, on telling him about SRP (he's a big forum of many types user), started to 'warn' me about how crappy and mean forums can be and that all people want to do is bait one another and start arguments. Where did my son become so negative about things (can always blame the ex, and I will)? In my working career I witnessed so much of the bad forum attitude in everyday dealings. I state here, and forever, SRP is not only the standout among forums because where else can two or more people disagree and then discuss it in humane terms and then get back to the business of lather, strop and shave, now known as LLS from this point on. I will start each day with a LLS for a DFS or a BBS, face my day with calm regard and finish the day with a beaker of fine cognac.
