"Reply With Quote" ain't working on my Linux box.
To whom it may concern ........ When I click reply with quote I get the 'wheel of death' spinning until I give up and hit the back button. Reply is working but not 'with quote.'

Yeah, definitely my os. I've rebooted a couple of times and still no help. Maybe need to install a new distro.

I wouldn't say your home directory is corrupted, just the issue you're having is a result from the settings/customizations/browsing history which are specific to your account, and they do live in your home directory.
If you delete wherever the browser settings are stored that should fix it but it will also reset any of your customizations. But to avoid that you'll have to learn more about the infrastructure of how things are stored and delete/move pieces selectively until you narrow down the one that is responsible.

It is fixed. The problem was ........ earlier today I had checked multi quote on two posts within a thread. I hit reply with quote and than copied and pasted what was in the text box within another thread/post. I never replied to the one with the multi quote.
I hit the back button and the pop up asked me if I wanted to 'stay on page' or 'leave page.' I clicked leave page and went about my business without unchecking the two multi quote posts. So as far as the OS was concerned, there was unfinished business.
I was talking to JB Horen about it and he has had the same thing happen and he told me about it and sure enough, So fortunately I remembered the thread where the posts were still checked, unchecked them and all good now.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
