Thanked: 1XHTML 1.0 Transitional
I don't know what this means but the site fails XHTML 1.0 transitional even though it says its valid at the bottom of the page.

Thanked: 1While were here why is there 2 sets of scroll bars.
Its mildly irritating when reading the forum using the keyboard.
I have to keep going back to the mouse to click outside the tread to use the outer scroll bars. It also means that I have to scroll over to see the whole thread sometimes when there is plenty of room in the window
I'm sure it's there for a reason but hey, if you don't ask.

It is likely your browser. What are you using? I can't see from the picture.
W3C compliance, though very good, can be a bit tough to reach some times, especially when your dealing in a CMS. We strive to reach it, but sometimes it is impossible. For instance, the code used to embed flash into a html page is not w3c compliant, so if your going to use any flash, then you can pretty much give up on making you site fully compliant. I have read about ways to make it so, but they seemed like a lot of work for something so minor. Still, I respect the W3C for all they have done. Where would we be without CSS.

Hmmm... I don't have two scroll bars on my WinXP system. I tried using both Firefox and IE browsers, both loaded via the main site and directly... I only ever have a single (vertical) scroll bar.
Edit: BTW, there is no longer a difference between loading via the main site and direct... Admin disabled loading the Forum in a frame many months ago.Last edited by azjoe; 03-29-2007 at 05:51 PM.
