Thread: One More Day to Go

Yesterday, I switched display styles from ‘Classic’ to ‘Blue Steel’ so I could see the stars that everyone was talking about, and this morning, when I logged on, in the upper right corner, was a message that says

‘Good morning, scarface.
One more day to go.’

???!!!??? What’s up with THAT??? ONE MORE DAY TO GO???? What does THAT mean??

I mean, it could be good….like, you know, say you’ve been planning a trip to Bali for the last 6 months, you leave tomorrow, the guy at the office is driving you f*&#!^g CRAZY!!....

……one more day to go.

Or, it could be……you’re sitting in your cell on death row….every appeal has been denied…tomorrow’s the day….the guard outside your cell paces back and forth, and everytime he passes your cell door, he looks in and says….

……..one more day to go.

One More Day To Go…..what does that MEAN??? Good?...Bad?...everytime I look up, my computer tells me

ONE MORE DAY TO GO

…I’m a nervous wreck. People that know me see me and my sallow face, my trembling hands, my suddenly gray hair, and ask with amazement “Lou…what’s wrong?’ and all I can tell them is

‘The internet told me One More Day to Go.’

I can see the shock in their eyes…they mumble their condolences and hustle away as fast as they can….they don’t want to be near me when whatever is going to happen happens….

One more day to go….

…there’s no way I can go to sleep tonight with THAT hanging over my head...One More Day to Go….how many days have already gone?....if I had a calculator and a pencil, I could probably come up with the number (or at least get it pretty close)….but have I squeezed every drop of goodness and enjoyment out of every one?....no, of course not….how many of them were totally wasted?....
