Then I wonder if the post I just posted contradicts what i posted before. Linking does seem to be a better idea, however, having said that, when someone revives one of my threads I'm actually quite chuffed...

Thanked: 154If the subject of an old thread isn't dependent on a short-lived event, posting to it could make the thread even more interesting or instructive. Why put an artificial time limit on such a discussion? The beauty of electronic bulletin boards is that they so effectively span distance and time. Sort of like a good (paper) book.
