    Actually, I don't think the OP pushed too hard for free honing.

    All he said was "I want to ask if theres anyone near me available to hone my blade for free or for a price."

    I did not read the post that got him banned, but I did read his three remaining posts. He came here with a genuine interest, was seeking help, and was insulted. Given that SRP is supposed to be here, at least in part, to help beginners, I still think we lost a more than just a member.
