    yes, but 'third party' pic hosting sites go MIA faster than my edges! If we want to save our forums for future shavers and posterity, it's better to have the pictures hosted with the posts here. I've been searching the forums a number of times and was disappointed when and interesting post with missing pics popped up

    That is the problem. Being that I'm a moderator, as part of 'housecleaning', any time I see a post in an old thread where the 'image is no longer available' I delete the post, and any quoting or commenting on that post. AFAIC uploading from your computer is the only way to go.

    MS Paint can reduce size by pixles or by percentage.
