As Hirlau Stated: Go into the menu setting of your camera. You can reduce the image size of your photographs. If you're only taking pictures to post on the web a 3 mpeg size file is sufficient. Also check into storing your pictures on one of the free online storage sites, for example photo bucket, picasa, etc. You upload your pictures to the storage site. When you post to SRP, you only list the URL address of your picture on the storage site. You do not have to upload your photograph to SRP.
