Well Tom, it might be difficult to ascertain whether someone likes/needs something they possess more than I do.
I'm going to try it though: PM to Dude...Dude, I'm not going to mince words here Dude. I like that razor you posted. In fact I'm pretty sure I like it more than you do. Be willing to bet money on that....whaddya say? Bet you half a yard that I like it more than you....I'd bet you half a yard that I need it more than you too, but I wouldn't want to take all your munny."Call me Ishmael"

Harold, get back over here, so we can prove that derailing a thread, can be saving a thread.

Hi1
we have a sell and Exchange thread on Our forum in sweden , if somebody wanna sell a razor, brushe , stone or ...................... he will put i frist on this thread and if someone is interesting will send him a PM and make a deal. i think its very Nice to do that, it is secure for both, how many times we bought Things from Ebay and we got bad Things, but if buy Things from member here we know at least he wont fool us, i hope i understand the discussion right.

Dear OP --
We have that in the classifieds. We also have some "vendors" who are not...who say, "look at this my latest masterpiece which someone bought"...there may be another one ...buyer beware. And we have members who are vendors who have websites where they sell, who never mention them. And we have people, who were described in an earlier post, who if PM'd to say "if you ever see another one of those, I'm looking for one like it" will answer...and some who don't.
Anyway, I think the point is that this is mostly an "information exchange" brotherhood (with, occasionally a sister) who swap opinions, pictures, preferences and techniques that MAY or may not lead to an exchange of goods or services with or without money being involved.
It's called FRIENDSHIP.
For just selling/buying there are the classifieds, which are rich with bargains, finds, and exchanges. Look it over, every day.
Otherwise, there is eBay, where prices are bid up ^^^^^.
Go to the classifieds, or go to eBay, but this thread's point is and always has been lost on me.
Howz that Bill?Just call me Harold

I reckon it might happen? Would be interesting to see how out of hand it gets!
The 'drive by's' would keep the mods busy full-time? Unless software would not let someone participate until requirements are met? Similar to the classified requirements now, I suppose?
The Mods may be inundated by complaints equal to what Eboy gets?
'Where's my stone?' 'It Won't SHAVE?' ' I never got PAID?'
Lots of questions, I suppose!Last edited by sharptonn; 12-18-2015 at 03:00 AM.

Frankenstein, you keep referring to high-end stuff. Collector's items. Not cheap. I only buy good stuff anymore, so the classifieds bore me.
Were someone to put a 700.00 razor on there, he would be chastised as a rip-off, even if the piece was worth more, or less. Better to promote it to the world than just here?
I seem to recall that you cannot list something in the classifieds which is on an auction site?
It seems the classifieds are underused. The Vendors rules and such get things cloudy.
Lots of jealousy and competition is generated on EBay. These ain't the old days anymore.
The question is, do we want it here?Last edited by sharptonn; 12-18-2015 at 03:28 AM.
