Offensive threads

If you find a post offensive go to the bottom of the text block and click on the triangle icon with the exclamation point. This brings up a report form in which you can voice your complaint and that will be emailed to all moderators and admins. A thread will automatically be started in the moderator forum where the team will assess the complaint and the offending post for rule violation. If it is not within the rules the post will be deleted, and the member may or may not be notified depending on the circumstances.

Yes, I understand the process of identifying and reporting offensive posts.
My comment is to delete the subject post after it has been flagged and closed. Leaving it in place effectively allows it to live on without comment.
