Thanked: 1903Excellent. To clarify: The Wiki and the forums are, obviously, not mutually exclusive. However, both do some things well, and others not so well. Forums are, in my personal opinion, good tools for the exchange of news and opinions. They are not very good for storing, and making available, aggregated information. The Wiki is the exact opposite. Using the forum to gather information, and then compile it in a Wiki article, is how I would go about this subject matter. Add to that the Wiki database, and you should be all set.
Mind you, this is my personal opinion which I am not trying to impose upon anybody. Not really, that is.

Curb your enthusiasm; for good measure, we're obviously going to invite another monopolist in order that there will be sound competition between 'wise and benevolent distribution policies'. I think Jason01 would make an excellent candidate.

I submit forums are a way in which ideas are formulated, tested by peers, validated (or discarded), and assigned value prior to being incorporated into a database.
I can have a finding or opinion, but until it is vetted, discussed and verified by common experience it doesn't achieve the status needed to be presented as knowledge and suitable for placement as part of our knowledge of hones and honing.
Think of it as peer review.

I nominate JimmyHAD to be the Grand Poo-Bah of the Hone clubs... Maybe we could call him the "Head Rock"

Anyone for a Norton Club?
I know ... it's almost laughable.

Yep, the best Jimmy could be in the US would be "Secretary of Hones".
Though for a classier title would be "Minister of Hones". But I would insist that someone post a pic of him in his wig.
