I am seeing this message again in the Classifieds when I try to upload pics: "
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /home/straight/public_html/classifieds/image-inc.php on line 127
"

Is the database full? If so, is there any way to lessen the clutter of expired classified ads on there (or at least move them to a different server)?

What that really means is that your picture is to big.. If you can reduce the size of your picture, you won't see that error.
