Thread: Two new contests for December

Well gents I am excited to announce two new contests for the month of Dec. The first will be for you new restorers. The contest will run till the last day of January and all new restorers (as in this will be your first restore) may enter one razor for the judges consideration. it may be a razor restored to its original condition or a razor that has been completely revamped with new scales and the works. please include a before and after shot of your razor as well as a description of all the work you did to the razor. We will have one prize for each category. The prizes are to be announced but David has assured we we will have something nice for prizes. So far Lee and Max will be acting as judges and more will be announced.

Contest number two
This contest is to help out all the new guys and the community as a whole. In the spirit of Christmas every member who donates something for the monthly SRP give away will be entered in a drawing for a prize that is yet to be announced but will be very nice (David is lining up prizes as we speak) Just send your contributions to Str8razor and you will be entered into this drawing. If you need his address please drop him a pm. I will announce further developments as they occur. Due to the short time this contest will rum till the end of Jan. as well. So help out everyone and win a prize!!!!!!

Sounds good. I like the idea of donating something in order to be entered....

This site is a great community of people and everyday I log on I am glad to be part of it! Now that said where do the new guys need to put there entries in? Thanks for all guys.

I want to make a donation but I fear I have nothing that is in good enough condition to donate... is there a requirement for the type/shape/quality of the donation? I have soaps and stuff, but my razors typically aren't as pretty as most like em because to me looks are as important as steel.

no there are no rules per say on razors all we ask in that they be shave ready if possible. And even then we can arrange to have them honed if need be. PM Str8razor and discuss what you have with him I am sure you will work it out fine.

Does contributing any time during this year count?
