Default part of post out of view

I have trouble seeing all of the text in some posts. They don't seem to wrap properly for me. I have tried different browsers. Is there a particular setting that I am missing? Thanks.

Example is purpleheart scales in restoration section.

To go along with that, ever since the site was re-done, I have to scroll down to find things, like the forums, for example. Maybe I'm just missing the boat.

    Try using this website:

    http://straightrazorpalace.com2

The other one, you may have gotten as a link from the SRP, is basically a website inside a website.

Do all posts word wrap incorrectly, or just some (eg, vladsch's in your reference)? Most posts wrap correctly on my system independent of whether I'm viewing it in the frame on the main site or full screen via the .../forums2 link AACJ provided. Vladsch's purpleheart does not, however. Korndog, I suspect it's likely the result of the large graphic (causing the message window to expand to accomodate it's width) rather than a problem word wrapping problem .

Can you elaborate on this a little as I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "scroll down to find things, like the forums".

    Joe,

It seems the home page loads fine, but when I select forums or user gallery, the page seems to shift so that the forums or gallery appear down below the log in button. Make sense? If I knew how to send a screen shot, I would. The same thing happens on my computer at work as well.

I am having the same difficulties on the word wrap and the page loading out of screen shot.

The gallery is the worse by far but since I dont visit there much I havent mentioned it. When the gallery loads, the frame where the gallery should be is vacant (white), while the surrounding frames are fine (Main Menu, Latest News, Popular etc.)... the actuall gallery is located Below the "Who's Online" Frame. Some of the time the forums will do this as well but not nearly as frequently as the gallery.

I think most of the issue is with the frames, because when I open the forum with out the frame-in-frame lay out every thing looks fantastic.

OK so here is a screen shot of what we are referring to on the missing frames:

I'm running XP Home with SP2 and using IE 6+ at a screen resolution of 1024X768 (32bit)
When you click on "User Gallerys" this is what the top of the loaded page looks like:

You can clearly see the Void frame where the gallery is suposed to be... So one will have to scroll a little bit down to see this:

Again, void. Use the Frames that are loading properly to the left and right to get a feel for where on the page we are, You'll notice the Gallery search bar appearing below the "Whos Online" frame. This is where the gallery starts and stays...
Here I've just clicked on Lynns Gallery for an example, you can see the individule gallerys also load well below the intended frame space (below the "who's online" frame)

Every once and a while the Forums will do the same thing. Some time's the forums will load in a very small frame with both verticle and horizonal scroll bars for the main page.
I'm using a 17" monitor and have switched resolution to 1152X864 to see if more desktop would make a difference and it did not.

    Joe,

I'll have to try reading this when I get home. About 1/3 of your post is "off screen" and I have to scroll down to the bottom for the slider.

    Lightbulb Keyword search

It seems the keyword search bar is the culprit here. The search bar is too wide to fit in the upper frame so it is inserted at the first point with width wide enough for it to be displayed properly. Two things that might be possible, make the keyword search field adjustable or make it a lot smaller than it currently is.

EDIT: By the way, the initial SRP image w/ Lynn's welcome does the same thing if your browser isn't full screen on initial load. It is corrected if you maximize the browser window.

Yea, this has been annoying me for months. To a newbie it would appear that there isn't a forum at all. I have to scroll for about 20 secondes just to get down to the forum. That other Link, Forum2, is much better.
