Thread: Thanks as feedback

I have noticed the same thing and it was puzzleing "thanks" for pointing out the cause. To me it is similiar to a members ranking (ie junior, senior) as you can see I am labeled as a senior member yet have only been here for little over 4 months. Clearly I should not be thought of a senior by anyone, I just like to post. All I can say is look at all of a persons stats before determining the value of their comment. I think the most important stats are join dates and posts, taken together. A high number of posts mean nothing and a join date of years ago means nothing but both means the person has probably been active for some time, and probably has a wealth of know. If I am answering a question I try to make it clear I am new and to take my comment lightly as there will be more senior members coming later with better insight. Regardless I do like to see a high thanks number next to my name maybe I'll post more often on SOTD. Of course a "thumbs up" button or something of tge like could help. Good for SOTD or when a customizer has a new razor to show off, I will often use tge thanks button in these circumstanes yet that's not really what I wanna do just applaud their fine efforts.
