    The HTML looks like this:

    HTML Code:
     at <span class="time">06:19 AM</span>
That would mean it is something rendered serverside. The idea of the timestamp format being a windows only thing is absolutely bullocks.

They do however appear to be an admin(aka global) setting, which is the reason I couldn't find it in my personal preferences:
    Changing date format?
    vBulletin Manual

But there is a plugin for this functionality : User Defined Date & Time Format Display - Page 2 - vBulletin.org Forum

So if the admins decide it's a nice to have I'll be happy. If they don't, oh well, then I'll get used to PM and AM. Another option is allowing users to set the forum language for themselves to UK instead of USA(which should be a default vbulletin feature)

    Cheers,

    Brickbag

It is indeed a global setting.
I have to admit the question never came up before. I'll ask the other staff to see which they think is best.

After a quick discussion, we decided to leave things as they are now.
We may or may not be able to make it a user option with the site upgrade.
