Thanked: 1262irfanview works well too. Here is a video I made awhile back for someone. I would view it at youtube so you can watch it in a larger window.

If you have a Photobucket account, this can be a great tool to utilize for photo editing and resizing as well. Simply put your cursor over a picture in your album (like you would to get the link code) and on the blue menu bar you will see an edit option. Click "EDIT" and you will notice after a brief load, some tools up at the top including a resize option and crop. Hope this helps for future reference

yeah, it's probably too large files. i don't know what image editor to suggest since i'm using a mac to crop and resize mine and it's pretty straightforward there with the built-in program.

Well then Mr gugi, I have a mac, so how does it work on the mac. I bought a used one with no instructions and sometimes it is hell trying to figure things out by trial and error.

I would just open the photo in iPhoto and click "edit". From there you can do some manipulation, including resizing, cropping, etc.

Just looking for a solution for you... I checked out this website: Free Online Picture Resizer - Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE!
It worked pretty well. For ads and whatnot select the 800 pixel option on step 2.
