Making sure that items sold in the classifides are sold from active members keeps the classifides honest, and greatly decreases the chance that you will buy something from some yahoo who disappears after mailing you garbage. You can be somewhat assured that you are buying something that was accurately described, from someone who cares as much about straightrazors and wetshaving as you do.
This has proven to an awesome community of trustworthy members, who are not in it to make a buck, but genuinely care about helping the new guy get up and running. So, of course you are welcome to share and learn...but to be honest, your VERY FIRST (and only) 4 posts are complaining about not being able to sell anything.
I'm with HNSB. Start by introducing yourself. It doesnt have to be dazzling or witty. just a hey. where are you from? how many razors do you own? what kinds? what strops? Any hones? what is your preshave routine? Any interests other than shaving? yada yada.
