Thread: Avatar size

No the Avatar is just fine. What is the man in the water have in his hand?

Yeah, the avatars are just that size and in .gif format. That's what the forum software does. It does make sense to have them all the same size since then the forum layout is uniform and looks nicer.
There is also a profile picture which can be larger and it's in png (and I think it can be in jpg) format but most people haven't set those up (me included because I'm too lazy to find the original picture I used for my avatar).

And I think mine's relatively legible, but if you wonder it's a screenshot from a 1929 movie of stropping a straight razor on a paddle strop.
