Settings
The Settings option has gone from the top right. It was useful as it gave a list of any subscribed threads with new posts.

You can find the subscribed threads under the quick links drop-down as well, that's what I use.

Yes its doable and I have created a short-cut button on my tool bar to http://straightrazorpalace.com/usercp.php which is the page but what I particularly liked with the settings function is that it shows only those subscribed threads with new posts and also the subscribed forums.
As it stands there isn't an obvious link the the User Control Panel at the moment, for editing password personal details etc although they do appear down the LHS when you go to subscribed threads via Quick Links.Regards

Yeah, the new vbulletin version has changed the name of the internal variable, and because of our customizations that change couldn't be merged automatically. I fixed this and few others, however there are plenty of other merge conflicts that need to be resolved and they'll happen as the developers find the time to do it.

Not a problem, it was a quick fix. Probably took me two minutes altogether mostly looking through the list of templates with the conflicts to decide which was the most likely one to contain the relevant code.
