Thread: Just for the guys

Dear MODs, Members and site organizer
I was thinking about this earlier today and want to see what every one would think about this or if it is possible.
Ok I know that most of the members are guys. But we do have female members. Won’t it be nice to have a guy’s only section? Where one can vent and BS about manly things that some won’t like a member of the opposite sex seeing. I know we have a ladies corner and all that is cool.

Interesting thought, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if there's any interest in it. Warning, Seinfeld reference coming...maybe we could just start a thread entitled, "Risk Mangement" and bury it somewhere deep where the womenfolk won't go snoopin round for it, then we'll be free to discuss any of these issues.

Personally I don't see the need of such sub forum, anything that can't be said in the open forum is probably best not said anyway, or can be done by PM IMO.

I suppose the reason for the Ladies Only is that with the majority of men here, they can have a small place were we don't interrupt. And in my experience women still are a little more private about certain things than we are (i.e. you don't see many women scratching their crotch in public )

The issue of the female members "interferring" a "male" discussion is also rather rare....

I get what you are saying but personally, I would welcome any female input even if I was complaining about something specifically to do with the female species.

For example, say I was a bit of a sexist and wanted to complain about how I make all the money in the small house that I have. The house only has one bathroom and am fed up that I can’t even get two tubs of cream on the counter… and then a female member piped up and said something like well, “do you like the way your wife looks? Aren’t you proud when you go out and she looks hot? Well if you said yes to one of those then know that women are forced to use a lot more product than the average guy!”

I would welcome that. You see – my guy friends enable me in those kinds of scenarios! I welcome women bringing me into the twenty first century. So I say no… but I like the idea of PMing.

I should have known it , , only a New York Ranger Fan would request a guy only section; wait this I tell my Panther buddies.
