It's not a matter of the capabilities of the software, but what we think is a good configuration that works, i.e. flexible enough for usual tasks, but at the same time restrictive enough to prevent abuse.
I would say that the content that's worth keep improving on should live in the library/wiki and there it can be edited indefinitely.
