Ok, here we go.
Here's the process of posting pics from an iPad to the forum using Safari, the standard browser that the iPad comes with.
(REQUIRES iPHOTO ON YOUR iPAD)
Hit reply
select go advanced
hit the paperclip icon
a new tab will open where you will see all pictures you have uploaded already.
In the top corner, hit the "add files" button
select upload pictures from your computer, and this familiar iOS dialogue will pop up.
Add images at will. (maximum is six per post I believe)
Here you'll see the image I selected in the bottom left corner.
Hitting done now will put a shortcut to this image under the paperclip button in the reply window we started with

Birnando,
Thanks for all your work doing the post! I have a question. Are the pictures you're uploading to SRP coming from your Photo App on your iPad, and your iPad is not tethered to a computer? When I attempt to "Add Files", "Upload from your computer", the 'upload from your computer' is not an active selection. It's there, but just plain text so if you try to select it you get the normal pop up of select, select all, paste, etc. like any plain text sentence. I've never been able to access the photos on my iPad. If you're working independently from you iPad, then I probably have something set incorrectly, and I'll keep trying to solve it. Thanks again for all your work!!
Best Regards,
Howard.

Yes, the photos you can upload via your browser will have to reside in the photos folder on your iPad.
I use iPhoto on my iPad for all my pictures.
It could be that it requires that to do this...
I'll uninstall my iPhoto app and see what that does to my ability to post from it.
Edit:
Yes, it seems that for this to work in Safari, you would need iPhoto on your iPad.
I will try other browsers to see if that helps, but it is likely that the iPhoto app is essential for this access in the OS.Last edited by Birnando; 11-17-2012 at 03:58 PM.

Part 2: iPhoto requires the new iOS 6 which I haven't upgraded to. From what I understand it eliminates Google Maps and replaces it with some "under performing" Apple map system. Decisions, Decisions.
