Thanked: 2to all srp members and staff!!!
Good luck to you deer hunter. As an active duty Marine. ( currently a recruiter). I have been in for 10 years and they have been very rewarding years. Some advice boot camp is temporary so don't get discouraged while there. The yelling is by design and. It personal. And if your not having some fun you are probably doing it wrong. When you come back hit us up so the inter service rivalry can begin. Until then work on those push ups.

Thanked: 485I always love to read your posts, deerhunter, you sound like a really cool dude, and you always sound so genuine and down to earth. I respect you very much for wanting to join the army, I hope that goes well for you and I hope you'll never have to spend a day at the two way firing range...
Of course I'd also like to join you in thanking the creators and administrators of this site. I spend WAY too much time here; I find it so entertaining in all manner of things...Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
