Inappropriate comments
Several times now, I've seen inappropriate posts in threads where the topic is about women and shaving. For some unfathomable reason, such threads end up with 'funny' comments which one would expect from hormonal teenagers instead of gentlemen.
Such comments have no place here.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

A way I look at it is this:
I consider SRP public. I enjoy humor as much as the next guy but what has been coming up is more private humor and should be either done with tact or not at all. Please be considerate with your posts as we do have female members.Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Thank you Bruno. Straight Razor Place should always be a family friendly forum.

There comes a point in time when a boy SHOULD turn into a man.

Take it from me, Bruno means all posts/threads. We just had to resort to banning a new guy with a very few posts because he had a screen name that the mod team felt was inappropriate for a family oriented forum. He refused to change it and replied with an obscene remark so ....... like water, he will have to seek his own level. I am sure it is someplace on the web.

Thanked: 3225I can see that if you view shaving with a straight as a testosterone charged event and a symbol of manliness, you would be wrong. That kind of attitude engenders inappropriate supposedly "funny" comments to be made. Age is not a factor either. Thanks Bruno for bringing that up.

Thanked: 480I am an equal opportunity offender. But even still, I try to keep that sort of thing off this site, simply because I enjoy this as a "safe harbor of intellectuals" instead of a free for all of slapstick or crudeness.
