    Hi Nipper,

Sorry to say I am more towards developing for Apple products. I do know that the Kindle Fire and Fire HD will run Android apps and as such, the developer for Android needs to add his version to the store(s) that a Kindle can access.

I've already started on this for Apple devices, I'm going to include some of Lynn's videos, and instructional material I can find such as PDF files, things of that nature.

I'll post some screen shots in the next few days to give everyone the look and feel so far. All suggestions are welcome and you can email them directly to me at appledeveloper@comcast.net

With an android and I believe a kindle we don't need to download from an app store. The app could be posted right here and we just download it. Only thing that has to be done is to allow installation of apps from unknown sources.

If you need a bug tester count me in. I have a basic knowledge of java and would love to help.

This is an interesting project. Being a software developer with more than 30 years of experience, as well as a passionate straight razor user, this sounds very interesting!

I started a new thread for the Apple version but I misspelled Apple in the title, so if a mod can fix that for me that would be great but here is a link to it

Just a quick update on this. Progress is being made nicely and it shouldn't be too long (depending on how my health holds up) before there is some kind of beta version for you guys to play with.

As for the Kindle Fire, I'm not sure if you can side load apks, but, if you can, you could install this that way. I'm not currently planning on releasing on the Amazon App Store, however.

OK - another update. I'm almost there!. There are just a couple of minor bug fixes required and some minor improvements in the user interface. Assuming my health continues to allow me, we should have a beta very soon.

You can allow installation from unknown sources on the kindle fire, but I have never tried it! The option at least exists in the settings.
