Android app for Razor DB
I'd like to see if I can create an app for Android which collects all the data from the straight razor database and display it in an easily searchable format. Do I need permission to do that?
Also, are the contents of the DB available in any format anywhere? I could simply scrape the data from the site, but that's not only far from elegant, it's also prone to failure if the site every changes - even slightly.
The app itself would be free and ad free, but don't expect it to be completed too quickly. I have health problems that could slow me down significantly and I mainly just want to do this for a project to do as well as because it's an app I'd quite like to have :-)

I don't know if you guys ever worked out the particulars of this, but you've got my interest!

Work has begun :-) However, as I said above, I have some health issues, so it might take a little while. That said, it's a fairly simple app so, perhaps, there'll be a request for beta testers in here before too long.

I'm aware this is an Android thread but I could whip one up for Apple as well. To the developer doing Android, check out Test Flight. It's free and allows you to upload beta versions and push them out to devices you allow to try the app. I use it for all my apps in Apple

Thanks - I'll take a look at test flight. Let me know if you need any help figuring out URLs to pull data from - I've sheesh been through that painful process
