Ohhh true but ohhh so nice to use. I had my wife get it for me as a gift. In addition you can get some as a sample from the C&E store. They also have Sienna, sandalwood The sweet almond shaving cream also rocks.

You can also try the Proraso Liquid Aftershave Balm (its called something like that- comes in a flat glass bottle). I don't know the ingredients, but it has a nice clean kind of soapy smell. Very soothing, light and non-greasy. And its cheap. Its one of my go-to products.

What about some of the Thayer's Witch Hazel products --I think they contain aloe vera.
I use the Thayer's SuperHazel --about $8 ---it contains a lot of goodies (a little grain alcohol thought) and also aloe vera. It has a nice cooling affect ----but the smell is a kind of plain --anyway,

The T&H aftershave balms contain aloe vera as well, I believe. But they're fairly pricey.

I just use some Tea Tree oil, mixed with some grapeseed oil, it works wonders at soothing the skin. You can make your own for next to nothing.
