Colleen, if the next batch of Bay Rum is a little light on the RUM we understand... ya "needed it for medicinal purposes". Hope things get better real soon.

Shoot! I'm all outta Rum and it's Sunday..... I'm also down to one pain pill.....JIM-O-neee crickett! It'll be interesting to see what the Doc says tomorrow afternoon about the NEW broken tooth......

    Gentlemen....your new selection of oils:

Lemon, Lavender, Coriander, Juniper, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Fir, Vetiver, Mandarin. This is very nice...and has some good potential....needs a little more tweaking. Very Masculine, but not overbearing.

I'm thinking of an "Unleaded" no alcohol, balm type for the Winter months and a "Leaded" version, for the Summer months....you know....the same way they ( whoever they are ) change our gasoline around.

And RichZ....I wasn't joking when I said, "I'd like to put a few of your comments" on the back label of the bottle.

    AZjoe....sent you a PM.

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

Oh Rich....you're just so sweet! Do ya want the good news or bad news?

According to the X-Ray....nothing is broken...shewie! that's the good news. The Bad news....he doesn't know whats wrong, says he can see no reason why I have this burning sensation, nor why my tooth feels like it doesn't belong in my own mouth.

His best guess is "trauma" to the surrounding nerves. Ooooo K, so I said, "well hows about in two weeks...suppose it still isn't right by then?" and he kindly replied, " Don't know... you'll have to go see your Dentist for that" .......heavy sigh........

So, basically that's the end of the tooth story. If it starts turning black...well, then I guess we'll know somethin was wrong. My God....how can I be the Soapmistress with a Black tooth...... HOL-EEE Cow!

I should have the last round of AS bottled up on Friday and ready to be mailed by Saturday morning. I'm just going with the flow on this one, so far the mix of essential oils is very nice. I adjust them up or down each morning.

OH....what I do is put so many drops of this or that on a cotton ball, and then other drops of EO and so on. I place the cotton ball in a baggie and let it sit for 24 hours. In the morning I run next door, just like a kid at Christmas to get a whiff of the baggie ...lol.... And then I decide to lower something, or add something else, or sometimes it gets trashed and I have to start over. So far so good.

I just scrolled down and looked at the oils I had listed previously....here's the new updated list:

    Lemon
    Lemongrass
    Lavender French Fine
    Coriander
    Juniper Berry
    Patchouli
    Fir
    Amyris
    Vetiver
    Peru Balsam

And by Friday, it may be different yet..... Scent Blending is something I try not to think about to hard. It's better to sip wine, wear a tie dyed shirt and listen to music...otherwise you get too technical and somehow the scent looses it's spirit.

Can ya tell I was a kid of the sixties....

Twas a great time to be growing up Colleen!

By way of support/encouragement, I've run into similar pain issues as you describe. It was amazing to me that the pain in my non-repaired teeth was as or more intense than the original problem...but thankfully subsided after a few days. Here's wishing the same for you darling soapmistress!

    Cheers,
    Ed

So that's it eh? Our new AS... I can see it now... the label makes the bottle look like an old paper bag... the neck of the bottle wrapped in gold foil with a wine cork for a stopper.... scribbled on the bag in crayola it reads "SRP Reserve ... a whiff of the baggie"

Hang in there with the tooth Colleen!! Nerves have a way of being out of kilter one day and the next every thing's fine. <fingers crossed>
