Thanked: 1160Classic shaving brand.........currently have the four Christmas scents and one puck of lilac. It's cheap and lathers great no BS. Bentonite clay based. The scents are not artificial smelling.Excellent glide. No irritation.

Thanked: 3228I have got to stop reading these soap and cream threads. Just ordered Valobra Patchouli hard shave soap puck, should remind me of the hippy dippy 60s in high school. So you can ad another to an already too long rotation.

Bob,
Good show. This new puck version of Valobra is really impressive. The old The Art of Shaving soap was made by Valobra, and that's why I have always been fond of it. By the way, the patchouli scent in Valobra is relatively mild, unlike the old Hippy-days' version of patchouli.

Thanked: 3228Thank you Obie for the news of the scent strength being a bit tamer. That is probably good news along with your opinion of the new puck version being impressive.

Thank you, Bob. The fragrance of patchouli is still strong in my senses from the old San Francisco days. My wife and I lived there during the 1960s, when patchouli was part of the city's air. Ah, yes, those were exciting times in San Francisco. Anyway, Bob, I am really impressed by the soap's overall quality. Really good stuff.

I have around 30 soaps/creams but my very favourite is Mike's Barber shop.

I have lost count of my soaps and creams. However, about a year ago, I estimated that I had enough soap to last over 10 years and I have obtained more since then. Remember, nothing exceeds like excess. You need every single one of each and every soap and cream you come across. In fact you need a minimum of three of each brand
Nothing is as it ever was.
