Default Pre-shave creams: PREP or Proraso?

In the US we can get Proraso pre shave cream at Target. In Italy, the best selling pre-shave cream is PREP, a similar product that, to many Italians, is the "American" equivalent of Proraso.
Which is better? I wrote a short article comparing the two products. It can be read by clicking on the "Articles" link in the Razor and Brush HP.
Hope you enjoy it and don't forget to stop by our message board!
    Take care,

    Giovanni

    Giovanni,

Great article. My wife picked up some Proraso pre-shave today for my new 'hobby'. I'll give it a try this week.

I am curious, do Italians still love 'things American', even with the political climate such that most of the world despises us? Again, I'm just curious.

    Ciao,
    John

Many Italians still admire the American way of life, although it's nowhere near the pro-American environment that we had in the 1950s! Those were the days!!!!

Nice writeup Giovanni. I was intrigued after reading it I decided to pick up some Proraso tonight and give it a shot. Very nice, refreshing feel and seems to do a good job of prepping the beard. Most importantly it washed off my hands nicely and didn't leave them slick for the actual shave.

Glad you liked it! Try it as an aftershave balm, after wetting your hands to make it thinner: superb!
    Take care,
    Giovanni
