    Default CS Soaps

I went through two of them and both gave me the same problem, drying on the face, turning into almost a sticky gum like substance. Very bad. When still wet, not bad at all and still slick enough. But they just dried out too quickly for my taste.

Thanks for the thoughts fellas. I'm going to try a steamerfull of distilled H2O in the AM. Thank god for rice steamers. I'm really glad that I was not the onlyone with this problem. I wonder if the non lye&olive oil have something to do with the difficulty cutting through the hard H20. MikeB

Hard to take a shower in distilled water.....

Seriously, though, shouldn't more of my soaps give me problems if it is my water? I've tried perhaps a dozen other soaps with no problem except not getting the best lather out of a Taylors Lavender.

Yeah -- I don't know for sure ---I've had problems with some soaps and not others as well --but all has been fixed with distilled water.

I've changed my mind after reading similar threads. I just was not swirling enough soap on the brush. I guess that I assumed it would lather richafter a few swirlsas with some other creams. I've recently lathered in the bowl until I got plenty of lather. I'm used to lathering soley on the face. I now think it is a fine product. Mike B
