I hear Lava is pretty good. And the bonus in savings is you don't ever have to hone your razor because it hones as you shave. My next choice is anything from Mama Bear's. Lathers like arko (almost) and you don't have to wear a cloths pin on your nose while using it :<0)

I'm wondering if you are using Comet in place of talc as part of your after shave routine. My understanding, also is that Dawn makes a great pre shave.
