Rmarsh , you are correct about Ryans comment , this soap/cream/ and I repeat Obie "its celestial" sorry Obie for stealing your quote, but I haven't come up wit a word better to describe this product. OP you will not be disappointed, the price is great considering how long it will last and the enjoyment that comes with its use. I took Obies recommendation and I believe you will be very happy too! I have the MDC fougere and has one big problem: when I bought it every time I come into the bathroom to shave, I always choose this soap! It 's really a great shaving soap, shaving foam, perfume and the post. I hope soon to be able to try the original version, I have few rivals for the top spot. In my locker is definitely the first place.

I wan't to try this soap since everybody is talking so good about it. It is a little pricey but I'm too curious. But I can't really justify buying it since I have one, two... a few soaps

Do not worry, you'll see that a jar of soap will not be able to finish it before several years. It 'a hard soap and it only takes 3 or 4 turns of the brush to load it. Then you'll see that amount 'of foam be able to produce, and above all that quality. The scent is personal but for me it is great. Can not 'miss this soap in the cabinet. I keep it close to his brother Lucien Le Pere, another wonderful French soap!

You might....... just might, if you get some MDC get rid of your other soaps - I've only used my Fougere 4 times so far and the thought has crossed my mind
