Price does not always reflect quality, but at seemingly low prices (I find Proraso amongst the most inefficient products around) you often get what you pay for. But each to their own.

On topic: A really nice soap (as some seemed to have missed the part where the OP said: "My name is Milan and prefer soaps to creams"; but any advice is better than none, I guess), I would not hesitate to recommend Green Mountain Soap. In a nutshell: the lather is rich, protective and makes the skin feel great afterwards.

I recently purchased Synergy Meta Nectar and I can say I really like it, but what really makes it stand out in my mind is the scent. Not that I like the scent, which I do, but the fact that it will actually stay with me for the day. Where all the other soaps I have tried the scent with be gone as soon as I am done shaving or a couple of minutes afterwards. It isn't overpowering where everyone will smell it as soon as they see you, but a nice hint of scent that I find pleasant and relaxing. I don't know how I haven't heard of this soap sooner.

I really like the Proraso line, except the Green, man I hate that stuff. The Red, Blue and White, love the stuff....but the Green makes me retch....to each his own...otherwise I'd agree, Proraso is an awesome product for an incredible price.

The Osma soap is one of my favorites now, a truly unique soap, that really stands on it's own, with the great scent, and the alum in the soap really provides for a close shave and skin that feels luxurious and warm for hours afterwards.

L'occtain. Was it mentioned yet? Nice scent, and it lasts all day. Great for a face lather as well.
