"Spring" water still has plenty of mineral content. "Drinking" water usually local supply with RO (Reverse Osmosis) treatment. Distilled is distilled, No way to reinterpret that.

That is what I always thought and it can be bought at the pharmacy/druggist. It is also suggested for batteries when topping them up in your car as it is not hard/O ph.

I have hard water and I now add a couple of large pinches of food grade citric acid to the wash basin to bring the ph nearer to neutral. No problems with any of my soaps or creams since I started to do this.

Usually you can find all three in the local grocery water section with their "private" label for about $1/gal. I use quite a bit of distilled water doing on-site drapery cleaning. No worries of mineral stains when done!

Jeez Anthony, I had forgotten about your little trick with the citric acid. I gotta mark that down somewhere but then again I'd probably forget where I put that when I needed it.

You are welcome. Just glad you finally got something that works for you. Pretty under rated and put down that Arko is but it works well. Still puzzled about the MWF though.
