    I got this for Christmas a few years back. It belonged to a barber and hung in his shop for many years.

    The tattered remains of this one lingered until the early 80's near my hometown in central Iowa:

    rant and rave?

    misbehave?
    Shoot the Brute
    some Burma shave!

    Not particularly inspired, but I'm sure they didn't squander the whole Madison Avenue budget on Boone, Iowa.
