Strictly speaking on the soap side with one exception.
Czech & Speake I have not tried (might be sacrilege....)
And adding Cella you have my line up.
    It is just Whisker Whacking
    Relax and Enjoy!

Czech & Speake is , IMO on scale with Tabac. I really like the way this soap performs and for me, it is effortless to get a great lather.

Begs a recently asked question if there are any poor Italian soaps.

He already has. Designed for shaving goats legs. Baaaby loves it. Would you like a free sample?

Thank you for the offer, Spendur, but no, because I already have trouble shaving my beard. Lynn says I have tree trunks for my beard, and he is right. So you see what I mean.
    Regards to Cousin Festus.

Xpec is a marvelous cream and, in my estimation, the best made today. Of the ones I have tried, anyway. The scent is a blend of tobacco, musk, lavender and a few other notes. I find it fresh, clean and hearty. Good stuff.

Indeed...Many of the shaving creams and soaps on Obie's list are my favorites as well.

I haven't tried the Le Pere Lucien soap or the Xpec cream yet, but I'll certainly put them both on my "Buy" radar now.

Amongst the soaps and creams I've used I rate Xpec at the top. It's one of the very few where the scent lingers after the shave is over. i find some thayers witch hazel and I don't even need an aftershave most days.

Perhaps Obie would you do a top 5 of your favorite colognes and aftershaves? Tc
