Its been a while since I got the sample pack from Maggard, and honestly maybe its the brush I got a Hi-Brush from Omega, but I'm still using the first sample I opened. The 'Mango Sage Tea'. I like the scent, though to me it wasn't anything special (the scent that is). It reminded me of a really nice hand soap my grandma used to have in her restroom. The lather was awesome with both hot and cold water. But my dilemma is that I am an ardent minimalist, and having only one bowl to put the sample soap in means that I should use the soap up before I try another. That's how I'm approaching it anyway. Well I had expected the sample to last the 5 or 6 shaves but I passed that a few weeks ago. I'm on shave 12 or 13 now on the first sample and am maybe half way through it. So alas I patiently troop on waiting to experience more than the smell of the others. I should say another part of my dilemma is that I chose an order that I wanted to go in based on the ones I least wanted to use (not to say any were unappealing at all. But you have to establish an order somehow), to the ones I most wanted to use. So I haven't gotten to the ones I was most looking forward to.

I've faced the same dilemma though it's usually a fragrance I don't care for. You can scrape the soap out of the bowl with a spoon and put it back in the container. Although not a minimalist approach, you can get small Pyrex spice bowls dirt cheap at Wal-Mart and I use them in the kitchen too.

Finally got my shipment. Limes is awesome an the shave fantastic! FS is for sure a lighter scent but if it performs as well as limes then it will still get used. SWMBO LOVES her Lilac an I must admit it does smell good even though its a bit girlish.

The cinnamon maggards burned a bit much for me. Scent was nice...like a pinesol cinnamon cocktail. Not a rebuy for me. Caties bubbles is nicer for me.

I try to avoid most products that contain cinnamon scent or oil. There's only one soap I've had a bad reaction to (and that was more because of almond oil than cinnamon) but I'd rather not take the risk.
That being said though, Catie's Bubbles are great products as well and worth taking a shot on.

Ordered a sample of the London Barbershop a few weeks ago. I tend to shave every other day, so I've been able to get several shaves out of the sample.
I have nothing but positive things to say about it:
- The scent is great. I elected to not use aftershave. The Mrs. really likes it
- Provides excellent cushion and glide. Smooth. (Tallow!)
- Lathers nicely. Full bodied lather with a great consistency.
All in all, a great product. Christmas is around the corner, so be sure to add it to your Christmas list. I will be ordering a full size shortly.
