New Cream and Soap Lineup
Gentlemen,
I am plagued with a heavy beard and an ultra sensitive skin. That is an odd combination. Consequently, I have been on a quest to find shave creams and soaps suitable for sensitive skin. The lineup includes regulars and old standbys, as well as new acquaintances. All seem ideal for my type of skin. So here is the new lineup, including Xpec, which along with Castle Forbes, is the crowning achievement in fine shaving creams. Xpec's future, however, is uncertain, vendors tell me:
Xpec cream
Castle Forbes cream
Martin de Candre soap
Le Pere Lucien soap
BAUM.BE cream
Estbjerg "sensitive" cream
Santa Maria Novella cream
Institute Karite cream
Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort cream
If you have ultra-sensitive skin, you might find this list useful. There are other creams and soaps for sensitive skin, and I have tried many, but have settled for these — for now.

Those are definitely some top-of-the-line choices. I guess they do prove their worth though.

Xpec is a celestial cream. I have a little bit left and savor it. No one seems to know if the manufacturer will continue to produce it. I should have stocked up. The tub is huge and the price worth it. So fingers crossed. At the same time, Castle Forbes is also celestial.

Soap addiction in full swing this month. I searched the local Bastille days for anything French shave related. Sadly, not very lucky. Food was good.
Castle Forbes and Martin de Candre in the mail. I was going to pass on the Martin de Candre because the shipping cost is extreme but their photographer makes soap look very luxurious."The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas." -Linus Pauling

I ordered a little something for the wife to since I was already paying over the price of an eBay razor for shipping. Hopefully we both will enjoy the soap.
