Yea, that is as close as I can get to describing it too. Gives a real quality lather also. With it in combo with the AS and EDT is the only time I have had a women come back to get a second whiff after passing by. She even asked what it was.

A wonderful scented soap that's still obtainable is Aramis. The scent is just like the iconic cologne. Could stand a drop or two of glycerin to get the suds there optimum level, but all in all a great manly scent.

That was my first Wet Shaving soap and scent. I use the aftershave and cologne and my wife bought me a Christmas present of an Aramis gift pack that had the shaving puck in an Aramis mug, with a brush and brush holder attached to the mug....Wish I had it back!

I guess I am different. I judge a soap or crème by the lather not the scent. When I find one that lathers well and the scent turns me on, then great. However I have several that I don't like the smell of that lather very well and give a good shave and I don't rule those out

Indeed Aramis is a classic that will never go out of style. My father used it and would always run a wetted hand of aramis thru my hair when I was a youngster guess it brings back alot of memories for me.
