Thread: My face gets dry from using this shave soap.

Proraso makes others besides the green variety. I've used them all, and like them all, but the red is my favorite. I also like Cella, Tabac, and DR Harris Arlington, as well as Pre de Provence, which you don't see much about. I just got MWF and have only used it once, so can't comment on it.

I agree with ChopperDave - those 3 points are dead right.
To expand on lather...
I do find playing around with the amount of water in the lather makes a difference along with how long its on your face. I find if i'm slow shaving and fiddle about finessing one part of my face, other parts dry out too much! i then wash the drying lather off and re-lather. That makes a big difference to how i feel after the shave.
