The email was not too clear as to whether the products where discontinued in UK only or Europe or World wide, but UK is for sure.

Wonder if the run on product is already on? I checked the Italianbarber this morning and it was $2.99 USD on sale and now it is sold out. I would imagine that it is a worldwide discontinuation not just the UK. Yup when stalks are gone they likely are gone. Will just have to wait and see.

I have enough Palmolive,Tabac, P160 and cella to last the rest of my life,be prepared for the great shaving soap shortage.

You know traditional mass produced shaving soaps/creams almost seem to be going the way film has. There is just not enough volume in sales to keep plants economically going geared to producing for a much larger market. There is still a niche market and it is being served by more and more artisan products.

That is sad news! I wasn't such a fan myself, but it's a solid product!
I know that at the moment, in Belgium, there's still enough in the stores.

The vast majority of shavers use some kind of canned goo today or even brushless creams. If they did not I am almost sure some traditional mass produced soap/creams would have not been discontinued. Just not growing fast enough I guess.

That sucks, it's the only reasonable stuff I can buy locally.
