    Wink Proraso

I know it's nothing new but I hadn't ever bought it. I saw a 150ml (5oz) tub for $12.95 at ShaverHut in Charlestown NSW so I thought... Why not?? The guy at the shop allowed me to open each (Red, Green and White) to smell the fragrances.

I settled on the Red. The shea butter and sandalwood fragrance is subtle but really very "manly". It's a classic fragrance without being overdone.

Goodness me it's good soap. The cream required much more water than I was used to with other soaps but it was well worth the effort to figure out the ratio.

It was a very creamy and dense lather but had a lovely glide. It was a fantastic shave. I had a missed yesterday's shave so the whisker length was a little longer than usual.

Afterwards my face felt fantastic. Some of the harder areas to shave felt closer than usual and my whole face felt as if it didn't need or want any aftershave balm. Of course I indulged however.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to get onto Proraso. I'll be keeping a tub at all times.

I have tried the green and red tubs and the shave cream in the blue tube. The all worked well and the shave cream in the blue tube turned out to be my favourite scent wise. Glad you finally tried it and liked it.

Proraso is my 'go to' soap. I haven't tried the red yet though, just green & white.

I may be half a bubble off, but I do like the old Italian brands of shave soap. Proraso is no exception. I do really enjoy it and it is always a staple here.

Proraso Red is awesome...if I use Proraso, it's the Red first, and then the White...can't go wrong with that soap period. Ever.

Each has its own appeal....I like the white cream, although it takes a lot of water, and the green in a tub is my everyday soap. All are good and cheap. Have the red, but have never gotten to it.

Love the sandalwood (red) Proraso - I travel with the tub and use the tube cream in my scuttle when I'm home. I've tried several others, but I've settled on Taylor of Old Bond and Proraso. Enjoy!
