So, I gave the Clubman cream a try today
My take on the Clubman cream is that it's probably not bad to keep around for when you're in a hurry. Just wipe it on and go to town shaving. Beats the can goo.
It doesn't give a bad shave, but not the best. It does have some cushion to it, but it goes on thin. The scent isn't anywhere near Orginal Clubman.
But, today was an ultimate Clubman day for me, shampoo, shave cream and then the aftershave. It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.

Thank you for sharing.. I'm still not going to buy it. Hurry or not Hirlau's review on it was enough for me to stay far away.

I probably would not have bought it either based on Hirlau review, but I had already done the deed. It's not a bad product, just not what people are used to. I'll give it a go for one week to get a good feel for it, but it probably won't make it into my go to soap selection.

I found it to be too slick. Can't stretch the skin once you've applied it. I don't recommend it. YMMV.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
