Mea culpa, I have a habit of transposing letters when spelling a word. Most annoying isn't it. Yea, we know who originated the idea/term.

Seems he has some interesting theories Veblen Good Definition | Investopedia which anyone is free to believe or disbelieve.

Don't shoot the messenger. This guy, an American economist, came up with the theory Veblen Good Definition | Investopedia . Fortunately there seem to be enough economic theories out there that you can generally find one that fits your POV. Trickle-down economic springs to mind.

Just because you were shown you can be wrong sometimes it does not make it personal.

I have to laugh at the replies knocking MDC.
Each person has the right to spend their money as they see fit.
But, my MDC has lasted a long time because you don't have to load up the brush.
It's a great special occasion soap, you can use cheap soap for everyday use.
But, it is worth trying it at least once. IMHO.

All jokes aside all opinions aside, I shave everyday, 4-5 times a week with MDC the other couple days I mix it up between 3 others, I've used the 3 soaps and have had to replace them ,mand the MDC has been with me since I started this forum. It seems to me that it's cheaper than the other cheaper soaps I have. There are those who tout this M T soap in a 100 gram jar at almost 30 bucks compared to 70 for the MDC 200 grams and the other stuff I moved to the mud room sink to wash hands after greasy work or the dog come bath time. But he turned his nose up at the scent. So much here you go YMMV. Tc

And at MDC,s price , how is this expensive, or wasteful, it cost more to go to a ballgame and it's over in 3 hours, my whiskey cost more and don't last more than a couple weeks. YMMV. tc
