Gentlemen,
I opened up the Third Tier category rather than dismiss it, because I felt it would help our members more.

I used this for several shaves and it burned my skin so badly that I looked like a bloody lobster. Some nasty stuff, this, even though it has some fans. Several days after I got rid of it, a friend telephoned me from Chicago and complained about the same problem with this soap. He said he looked like a lobster, too. Also, he said the lid did not fit properly on the fancy dish.

Saponificio Varesino 70th is great if you like Aqua Di Gio, If you got stunk out of the bar in your 20s by this smell, I would understand. I know of people who hate lavender, and fougere , So that rules out MdC. SV with the After Shave I got a great face feel.
Your only as good as your last hone job.

Thanked: 2591Cold River Soap Works IMO is a second tier soap. If they can figure out their scents a bit then they may even get in the first tier for me.

Thanked: 3223Wow that is a heck of a reaction to it. I have not experienced that nor have I heard complaints of that nature from 2 other forum members I know use the soap. As always there is no telling how a soap will react with someone's skin till they use it. The cost of the soap is not any indicator either if you will have a reaction to it. Probably why getting samples are a good idea.
